Donna’s Strawberry Breakfast Bowl

This bowl is full of nutrient dense foods perfect for starting your day on the right track. To name a few, avocados are fantastic fruits with tons of nutritional benefits. They are an excellent source of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that helps cleanse and protect your body by detoxifying, removing heavy metals, and fighting free radicals.

Goji berries are raisin-size fruits that are chewy and taste like a cross between a cranberry and a cherry. They may be small, but they are a mighty high protein berry and a great source of antioxidants. They contain eighteen amino acids, including all eight essential amino acids. They also contain essential fatty acids, and over twenty vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, zinc, riboflavin (Vitamin B2), calcium, and iron. Their benefits are too numerous to mention. The take away is they are worth adding to your diet. Serves 1-2.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of raw cashews
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup of shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup of goji berries
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • ¼ cup of raw hemp seed
  • 1 cups of filtered water

Directions:

  1. Soak cashews in water in a blender for 20 minutes to an hour
  2. Add 1/2 banana, avocado, hemp seed and ½ cup of strawberries. Blend until silky smooth
  3. Slice the other ½ of the banana
  4. Garnish with the rest of strawberries and banana, shredded coconut and goji berries.

  • 1/2 cup of raw cashews (any raw nuts or seeds)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup of shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup of goji berries
  • 1 cup of strawberries (any berries)
  • ¼ cup of raw hemp seed
  • 1 cup of filtered water
